OODP: Spring Lace Detail Dress

OODP: Spring Lace Detail Dress

A great casual dress that you can dress up or down!  Pair it with a long beaded necklace and some cute booties and you're ready to go!  (If the weather was warmer I would bust out my sandals.)

I'm all about lace and this dress has a really cute lace trim detail at the bottom of the skirt.   The booties I am wearing also have a great lace pattern on the side.

The dress cinches at the waist so you could wear it with or without a belt.

Side Note: I actually went back and forth on deciding whether or not I needed to add a belt.  My husband and I were on our way to a family feast for lunch so I knew a belt would be more restricting for my hungry appetite. So I nixed the belt idea.

I love to mix new pieces with old because I feel like that's how most wardrobes work.  Not everything in your outfit can be completely new.  The real art form of "outfit creating" comes from taking a new piece and finding the perfect combination of other older pieces to help bring the outfit together!

Below is my outfit idea board and I tried my best to find similar pieces to my originals!
1. Lace-Detail Gauze Dress via Old Navy.
2. Lace Combat Booties via from Target a couple seasons ago. There are similar ones via DSW here and here.
3. Long Double Stranded Beaded Necklace via I honestly can't remember.  But I also found similar one at New York & Company.

Do you have a go-to "spring" dress or outfit?
